I ripped the tendons in my thumb and nothing helped the pain. I tried my GP, who prescribed tablets, but I was in pain 24 hours a day for months. Then someone suggested acupuncture. It hadn’t occured to me that this would help, and after 3 sessions I was pain-free. I also suffered from back pain, and acupuncure worked a treat!

I have suffered with PMT for many years and I thought I had nothing to lose, so I tried Chinese herbs. Martin asks you lots of questions about your symptoms, then looks at your tongue and takes your pulse. He gave me herbs in capsules so I don’t taste a thing. My only regret is that I didn’t try them sooner. I can’t tell you how brilliantly they have worked (Just ask my son!)

After having acupuncture in Scotland for my Fibromyalgia pain a couple of years ago, I knew that it was the only thing that helped with my pain management. When I moved to Hemel Hempstead I was eager to find an acupuncturist that could help me again. So I was delighted to find Martin Silliton at the Beta Health Clinic, not just because he is excellent at acupuncture but he always goes that extra mile to help you with your problem, doing his own research and coming up with suggestions that can help with whatever your problem may be. He is also very easy to get on with and I felt immediately at ease with him, which is also helpful when having this type of treatment. I can’t rate Martin highly enough, and would urge anyone who is thinking of this type of treatment to give him a call!
